JAUS Tool Set

The OpenJAUS development team is proud to announce its involvement in a collaborative open source effort to develop tools for the next-generation of JAUS development.

As the JAUS Standard matures, it is transitioning to an SAE standard under the AS-4 Unmanned Systems standards body. Part of that transition and maturation is movement to a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) approach.

The OpenJAUS development team has teamed with other JAUS developers from academia (University of Florida), government (Air Force Research Labs and Office of Naval Research) and industry (Defense Technologies Inc) with financial assistance from the Navy to form a cohesive team dedicated to the development of an open-source  JAUS Tool Set. The JAUS Tool Set will consist of a collection of software tools to aid in the development and testing of JAUS Services and increase developer productivity.

For more information on the effort, watch this space in the coming weeks and months! Also you can see a 1-page fact sheet about the effort here.
