Hi! I'm new here and have some questions about using OpenJAUS with QNX.

The OpenJAUS download page says: QNX Support: Thanks to Tim Sowden of Perry Singsby Systems, OpenJAUS has been ported to and tested to run on QNX Neutrino 6.3 and gcc 3.3.5. Changes to the codebase are now incorporated in the main OpenJAUS trunk.

Does anyone know where I get the OpenJAUS sources with QNX support from? Do I need to get whatever's currently on the trunk & build it? Will it be stable? Is there a stable support branch with the same port available?

I'm actually trying to get OpenJAUS to run with an older version of QNX & gcc, but figured that the work Tim has done would be the ideal jumping off point...

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

The standard Linux SDK distribution of OpenJAUSv3.3.0b available from the Google code site is the one which was tested and validated to work by Tom Sowden. You will need to build this source code for your target environment. The 3.3.0b branch has been in use for several months by many different parties and is very stable.

There is a new branch on the google code site, version33c, which has seen updates and changes to the 33b codebase over the past few months. This code base, to my knowledge, has not been tested with QNX, however I do not think, off the top of my head, that anything significant has changed which would render that branch any less compatible with QNX. It should be at least as stable as version33b but it has not undergone as much testing and validation as it is more of the nightly sandbox repository.
